The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. The Cleveland Area Chapter serves residents in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, and Ashtabula Counties. The Association offers numerous free educational and support resources to equip you with the knowledge you need to help with a diagnosis of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

This 24/7 referral and support service is available all day and every day. Through this free service, offered in 140 languages, specialists provide confidential support and information to people living with dementia, caregivers, families, and the public.

Care Consultation

Staff provide personalized information, resources, strategies to families, and create an action plan to help with decision-making.

Caregiver Support Groups

Guided by trained facilitators, support groups are for caregivers, individuals living with Alzheimer’s, and others dealing with the disease.

Jan & Josephine Castora Family Caregiver Relief Program

This program pays for non-medical, in-home care services for caregivers providing daily care for a loved one. Email caregiverreliefprogram@alz.org for more details.

Community & Online Education Programs
