We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make our We Should Take More Photos fundraising event a success!

The event, held on October 14th at Forest City Brewery, supported the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s and was dedicated to honoring those we’ve lost to Alzheimer’s Disease and those who continue to live with it.
Guests enjoyed salsa lessons by CAB member Margie Colon, a dance presentation by the Hispanic Senior Center/Catholic Charities, and live salsa music by Conjunto Guarachando featuring Franky Lopez.
Dr. Pillai and Cleveland Clinic, under the umbrella of research conducted by the Cleveland Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (CADRC), are teaming up with experts from VA Puget Sound, Seattle and the University of California San Diego to recruit nearly 100 participants between the ages of 50 to 90 and will be aided by data analysis expertise from University of Washington.
