Driving Toward a Cure: A Heartfelt Thanks to Our Partners
The Cleveland Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (CADRC) is revving with gratitude! On Saturday, January 16, we celebrated a highly successful fundraising event brought to life by a fantastic partnership: WD Detailing, Porsche Beachwood, and the Northern Ohio Region Porsche Club of America (NORPCA). Check out the launch video on Porsche Beachwood's Instagram page.
Together, we spent the day honoring the resilience of those living with Alzheimer’s Disease. Whether you’re a caregiver, a family member, or a neighbor, we know how deeply this journey touches our community.
The fundraising effort continues with a goal of $75k

Funds will go toward:
- Community Education & Outreach ($25,000): This initial funding supports a full year of awareness efforts, including at least 25 community events across Northeast Ohio. These initiatives provide individuals and families with resources and materials to support their loved ones who are at risk for cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) progression, while highlighting critical opportunities to get involved in local research.
- Advanced Diagnostics & Research Support ($50,000): These additional funds ensure that up to 50 participants at the Cleveland Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (CADRC) can complete vital annual procedures, such as brain scans, genetic testing, and neurological assessments. A portion of these funds also covers transportation costs, ensuring that every individual—regardless of their circumstances—can contribute to life-saving data.
We salute the courage of our families and are humbled by the generosity of everyone involved. A massive thank you to the teams at WD Detailing, Porsche Beachwood, and NORPCA, as well as every attendee who helped make the day a success!
Get Ready for Round Two: If you weren't able to attend this event, don't worry - we’re already planning a second fundraising event for this Spring. Stay tuned for details—we can’t wait to see you there!
