Members of the Cleveland Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (CADRC) recently attended the Spring 2026 ADRC Meeting held at the Loews Atlanta Hotel. This meeting, organized by the National Alzheimer’s Coordinating Center (NACC), is a critical forum for centers across the country to coordinate research efforts and share scientific advancements.

Featured Presentations and Panels
The CADRC was represented in the scientific program by our Core leadership and scholars:

• Dr. Mark Lowe (Neuroimaging Core Leader): Dr. Lowe contributed to the Imaging Core Session as a speaker and panelist. He provided the "Objectives/Overview" for the session on Post-Mortem Imaging and subsequently served as a panelist for the Post-Mortem Imaging Q&A.
• Dr. Benjamin Clayton (REC Scholar): Dr. Clayton presented during the Research Education Component (REC) poster session. His poster was titled: "Modulating Glial Reactivity for Neuroprotection." His work represents the center's ongoing commitment to exploring new therapeutic targets in neurodegenerative research.

Beyond the formal sessions, the meeting allowed our staff to engage with the broader ADRC community, ensuring our work in Cleveland remains integrated with national research standards and multi-center collaborations.
